2019 Air Force Trials

In March, more than 150 wounded Airmen and caregivers from around the world will come together to compete for their spot on the Air Force Warrior Games team. Through adaptive sports and other resiliency programs, these wounded Airmen connect with other Airmen with shared experiences and learn much needed skill sets to help them continue on their road to recovery. The Air Force cannot legally fund wounded Airmen in veteran status to attend Air Force events or the DoD Warrior Games. AFA’s Wounded Airman Program steps in to support these Airmen and their caregivers through Airman for Life travel grants so they can stay connected with our Air Force family and get much needed resiliency training and support. AFA needs your help as we support 25 veteran Airmen to attend the 2019 Air Force Trials. We are fundraising for $42,000 to provide each of these Airmen with $1500 Airman for Life Travel grants. Remember, your support helps change and save lives!
